Two ways to win
A bet wins the pot two ways: everyone folds now, or someone calls and you win a bigger pot later with the best hand. A checked pot pays you only if you were already best — nobody ever folds to a check. That's why aggressive play is this course's spine: the bet that works either way is the cheapest ticket in poker, and top set with no draw to fear is its purest customer.
